KEITH JAMES IN CONCERT The Songs of Leonard Cohen
THESE REMARKABLE SONGS, STRIPPED BACK - DESOLATE, NAKED AND SENSUAL.

Enigmatic and sub textural, songwriter Leonard Cohen was an unflinching character, with an exact sense of prose, wry humour and courage to wrestle with the unspoken, forgiving human frailty with the brush of each line. His music befriended an entire generation and so the announcement of his passing has truly marked an end of an era. He challenged us to listen more carefully, speak more thoughtfully, think more deeply and recognize our own humanity...A Man of Grace.
Our world misses him very much..

With a reputation of performing in this exact way and with undying love of the 'Pure Song' Kieth James gives you a concert of Cohen's amazing material in an intimate and sensitive style, exposing the solitary inner strength of these greatest songs in their original perfect form.

Kieth has not only expanded his study of LC, but also deepened it..
Included in this concert are Cohen's well known songs: Famous Blue Raincoat, Sisters of Mercy, Suzanne and Hallelujah alongside his rarer and profound writing such as Who by the fire, Joan of Arc and Secret Life.
Also included are Keith's dramatic and absorbing performances based on work by Federico Garcia Lorca- Cohen's greatest influence. Kieth has also transcribed into song one of Leonard's early poems.

Tickets are £15.00 in advance will be £17.00 on the door.
